Let's face it: if you're involved in the production of childrens' television, you are in all probability a horrendous pervert. How else to explain the following lineup of kids shows that tried to sneak racy material into the minds of America's youngsters?

Braceface – Remember when people cared about Alicia Silverstone? This is after that. In 2001, she was hired to be the voice of Sharon Spitz, aka "Braceface," a teenage girl in this often really weird Canadian cartoon. In this episode, Sharon becomes concerned with the size of her bust (which is I guess normal for teenage girls), but to resolve the situation she purchases an inflatable bra and viewers are treated to the sight of a bizarrely-drawn 8^th grader with insanely oversized titties. That… that's not OK.

Animaniacs- I'm going to assume that everybody reading this knows what a furry is. But what is responsible for the huge boom in otherwise normal adults getting off on cartoon animals? Two words: Minerva Mink. This sultry woodland creature popped up on Steven Spielberg's Animaniacs with her only goal being to slip in as many double entendres as humanly possible. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to give thousands of little boys their first boner from a rodent that we kill for coats.

Rocko's Modern Life - This early Nickelodeon cartoon pushed the envelope in a number of pretty sneaky ways, but nothing beats the above clip, in which Rocko's cow pal Heffer gets hooked up to a milking machine. But Heffer is a boy, so three guesses what that machine is sucking on?

Lazytown - The only live-action show to make the list, this utterly weird Icelandic program ostensibly about the joys of physical fitness is notorious for sexualizing its young female lead Stephanie. The bizarre fetish of Lazytown is hard to describe - I saw one person calling it "meth clown fetish" - but there's lots of people picking up on it. Check the awesome Lazytown / Lil Jon remix above for proof, and try to claim that that spurting fluid is just cake batter.

Totally Spies - This show is the king of the fetish content - everything from female bodybuilders to foot obsession to vore (people who get off on being swallowed) has been animated. It sometimes seemed like every episode the writers would pop open The Joy Of Sex and try to figure out some way to get it up on-screen. Hell, there was even one episode that strongly implied that the three Spies had just come from a bukkake! The above clip, from the "body inflating" episode, is relatively tame.

The Magic Schoolbus - After I published this article, a reader contacted me to tell me about a very bizarre episode of normally tame PBS show The Magic Schoolbus. If you're not familiar (and why should you be?),  a bunch of kids have adventures of discovery on a magic bus. In this one, the kids get transformed into salmon eggs and, horrifyingly, a male salmon swims by and squirts fish splooge all over them, fertilizing them. THIS IS NOT OK!
