Corina Tarnita received her PhD in Mathematics from Harvard last year, which is no surprise as she was the best math student in all of Romania, publishing two textbooks before she came to America and winning first prize in the Romanian National Mathematical Olympiad (yes, that is a real thing) three years in a row.
