No worries about crowding into this subway at rush hour. Zion National Park in Utah houses a breathtaking canyon called the Subway that has become incredibly popular. The park developed a lottery system as a fair way to limit the number of visitors to the Subway. Only 80 people each day are allowed to hike the Subway, with groups no larger than 12.
Just in case you're not confident in your hiking skills, or you aren't lucky enough to win the lottery, you can appreciate the Subway's beauty with these amazing photos.

Hiking through the Subway is not for the faint of heart. 9.5 miles long, with an average hiking time of 7 hours, this is not a beginner's trail. The official website explains there are 2 ways to explore the canyon: from the bottom up and from the top down. Both are "strenuous" and require advanced skills and equipment.
